Tomorrow morning I’m setting off to Estonia for the week to see Riina. It will also give me a great opportunity to test out the AE-1 and some expired film!
My soul needs to travel, and I relish the butterflies in my stomach that I am starting to feel about traveling and I am trying to embrace them.
In other news, I have pretty much sold my car today! I look forward to dealing with that on my return, and then the process of buying a new car. For all of those interested, I will be looking for a VW Golf GTI Mk3. Its a good enough car that I will be able to modify it if I choose to do so, or leave it as standard. I haven’t decided yet. Western problems, eh?
So, here’s to the coming week. A week where my iPhone will stay in Airplane mode. A week where I won’t have my laptop, and will check my email once every few days rather than once every few minutes. A week of exploring new cultures, new cities, new foods, new friends, new pastures.
